About Ambler PA
A small community located in southern Montgomery County, Ambler was initially established as a farming community, and mills were established in the area to bring commerce to the region. For many years, Ambler was a rural neighborhood with a small number of businesses. As it grew, however, Ambler residents established a number of industrial facilities throughout the area, including asbestos production. A number of historic structures still stand in the area to this day, including residential houses and places of worship.
